John Moyer
Managing Director
John Moyer has more than 20 years experience in the IT industry with an introduction in the early 1980s as Managing Partner of a California law firm. He has a Juris Doctorate degree in Law, is a member of the California Bar Association and also is a Commissioner of Oaths in Fiji. He formed Computech in 1990 with a vision of importing the PC-based technology which was fast emerging in the USA in the form of Networking solutions which were to replace the costly VAX and AS400 mini-computer solutions for mid-sized applications. In 1992, the company became the first official Novell Networking Software Distributor in the South Pacific Basin and won several large tenders using PC-based networking technology including NZ aid funded Fiji Land Information system and the development of Price Waterhouse designed billing solution for PWD Water Rates. John has managed the company and all major roll-outs since its inception.
Parvin Kumar
Business Applications Manager
Parvin Kumar is the most experienced Sage Accpac consultant in Fiji. He has more than 9 years experience in the implementation and support of Sage Accpac ERP software and related products. He has performed the role of team leader on numerous Sage Accpac projects, and is experienced in managing and building teams, allocating team resources, and other related team leadership responsibilities. His work with Sage Accpac has involved point of sale, fixed assets, manufacturing system, customer relationship management and report writing software. He has worked on all aspects of Sage Accpac projects, including project management, software implementation, version upgrades, conducting user trainings, developing customised reports, designing financial reports and providing technical support on an ongoing basis. Parvin is a Sage Accpac Certified Consultant.
Regis Trainor
Senior Financial Specialist
As a Certified Accpac Accounting systems and financial specialist, with over 21 years of experience in financial systems and tax accounting, Regis has taken the lead in a formal business process analysis of the ADB backed Fiji government Department of Roads FMIS roll-out. He has also developed and implemented the training program for the national staff and interfaced with the Asian Development Bank consultants as well as the overseas Asset Management personnel which has implemented the CONFIRM program.
Melon Johannes
Senior Project Manager
Melon has over 8 years of experience using computer software principles to identify and implement general business and specific accounting solutions into functional programs, as well as 10 years of accounting and financial management experience. On Computech's Ministry of Health Patient Administration and Information System, she has served as Senior Project manager and analyst, as well as a data architect and a functional analyst. On Computech's installation of SAGE PRO (formerly Accpac Pro Series) in the Fiji Government's Ministry of Roads Department, she has worked as a business process re-engineering specialist and assisted in the design and implementation of a double entry accounting program to replace a manual single entry system.
Faraz Khan
Senior Analyst/Project Technical Lead
Faraz brings to Computech skills in software development as well as operating systems and administration. Faraz's primary responsibilities in Computech include providing technical leadership to a team of twelve developers. He makes key decisions on technologies, manages system-wide data structures; codes complex modules; and helps developers with technical problems. Before coming to Computech, Faraz was a consultant in Australia where he worked as a project manager, systems integrator, and as a software developer. In these roles he developed a SMS (short message service) communication system for a logistics company; optimized the network for an Australian branch of a multi-national company; and designed, developed, and implemented operations software systems.
